The buried weak layers are becoming less reactive as the snowpack is adjusting to last week's storm snow. Consider your terrain choices carefully, and avoid places where even a short-running avalanche might push you over a cliff or debris might pile up deeply. Sticking to terrain less than about 30 degrees will help keep you safer.
