Temperatures will fall to the mid teens by morning and only light snow is forecasted for the day. Winds will be southwesterly at 30 miles per hour during the snowfall event then slow and veer to westerly during the day Wednesday.Rapid snowfall and southwest winds will develop easily triggered or naturally releasing surface slabs to 18 inches in depth at upper and mid elevations by Wednesday morning. The avalanche hazard will be Considerable. Deeper slabs could be released by backcountry users on steep walls of bowls, near cliff bands or under cornices.
