At the upper elevations, backcountry travelers could trigger isolated pockets of wind slab up to a foot deep in steep avalanche starting zones, couloirs and cliff areas. If mostly clear skies prevail throughout the day, the avalanche hazard will increase at all elevations as wet loose and wet slab avalanches up to two feet in depth become possible on steep, sunlit slopes.

Light, scattered snow showers may develop overnight and continue into Monday as a Pacific low pressure systems moves through the region. Overnight lows in the mountains will be near 20 rising to near 30 during the day. Southerly ridgetop winds will veer westerly at 10 to 20 miles per hour.The general avalanche hazard is expected to be: LOW in the Teton area where backcountry users have a diminishing potential to trigger isolated pockets of surface slabs to twelve inch depths in very steep, shaded terrain. MODERATE in the Togwotee Pass area where the possibility persists for skiers and riders to trigger full depth hard slabs in very steep terrain. Larger triggers, such as snowmachines, may be necessary to initiate such an event. MODERATE in the Southwest Trails/Greys River area where backcountry travelers have the potential to trigger full depth hard slabs in steep terrain as well as surface slabs to twelve inches in depth on very steep, shaded slopes.
