The General Avalanche Hazard is CONSIDERABLE today. Strong west winds, warming temperatures and a buried weak layer of faceted snow have created unstable conditions. Soft slabs up two feet in depth are likely to be easily triggered in steep wind loaded avalanhce terrain.
