In sintesi
The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. Surface slabs up to 18 inches in depth formed by recent snow and wind lie upon a snowpack comprised primarily of rotten, faceted snow. These slabs could be triggered by snowmobiles and possibly by skiers or boarders on steep wind loaded slopes and once triggered are likely to pull out deeper layers of snow. Continued above freezing temperatures at low elevations have made it possible to release slides in steep areas like ravines or road cuts.
