At the upper elevations increasing northwest winds will be moving available snow onto leeward aspects. Normal caution is advised as even small avalanches can cause injury. Snow cover is up to 18 inches deep at the highest elevations and tapers to depths of less than six inches and areas of bare ground below an elevation of 8,000 feet.
