The general avalanche hazard is LOW. Isolated pockets of surface slabs to a foot in depth could be human triggered in very steep wind loaded terrain at the higher elevations today. Avalanches are unlikely in other areas in the shallow early season snowpack.

( Discussion is generated from the previous day's afternoon forecast. )Snowfall is to diminish Monday evening, however a chance remains for periods of light snow and flurries through Tuesday. Temperatures are to remain cold with mountain highs in the single digits. Winds will gradually veer to the West with averages of ten to twenty miles per hour. The general avalanche hazard will be Low. At higher elevations where recent wind loading has occurred in very steep terrain, isolated pockets of shallow surface slabs could be triggered.
