Avalanche Activity

Heavy precipitation.

The new snow can be released, especially by large additional loads on steep shady slopes above the tree line. Is these aspects small and, in isolated cases, medium-sized natural avalanches are possible.

Snowpack Structure

The new snow is bonding poorly with the old snowpack. The fresh wind slabs are barely recognisable because of the poor visibility. The rain will give rise in the late morning to a loss of strength within the snowpack below approximately 1800 m. Up to 30 cm of snow will fall. On south facing slopes below approximately 1800 m no snow is lying.

Tendency

A little new snow.
