In sintesi

The possibility of triggering an avalanche still exists as a result of multiple weak layers and overall poor snowpack structure. Well defined starting zones and steep slopes into terrain traps that contain firm, cohesive slabs are the main concern. Use extra caution on slopes over 35° since these have the highest likelihood of triggering an avalanche.

    Weak layers of snow are distributed across all aspects and elevations. Although the sensitivity of these layers has decreased since the January 26th storm, stability tests are still proving these layers could trigger an avalanche.Slab depths range from 1-3 feet.  Areas with a shallow snowpack and firm, cohesive slab above these weak layers on steep slopes over 35° have the highest likelihood. Dig down to identify these layers and perform stability tests before committing to steep slopes.

Unfortunately Togwotee didn't receive the quick pulse of snow like the other two zones. This makes the avalanche danger much more straightforward. Weak layers are still buried within the snowpack and reactive during stability tests, although human triggered avalanches have tapered off significantly. Use caution on those steep slopes discussed in the avalanche problems and remember that hitting that one particular thin spot could still trigger a large avalanche. Be mindful of terrain traps and steep treed slopes. If you can ride through it, you can slide through it.
