More sunny weather tomorrow. Similar weather over the weekend produced very few instabilities or avalanches. I expect this to continue into Monday, although the day could feel a bit warmer with periods of clear skies and light winds.
Calm winds, sunny skies, and temperatures rising to the upper 30's F might melt enough snow on the steepest South slopes that I've included this as our only problem. I expect Loose Wet avalanches to be unlikely on most slopes that folks are skiing.
Our snow surface is a stout melt-freeze crust thoughout the ski terrain. At and above treeline this crust is VERY supportable, while that is not always the case below treeline. Sun and warm temperatures have been able to melt this crust enough to provide decent riding on the warmest slopes, but just barely. Last weeks rain essentially reset our mid snowpack, and there are no persistent weak layers of concern.
