Be aware of isolated wind slabs, otherwise stable conditions.

Vind og nysnø på søndag kan ha gitt ustabile flak i leområder mot sørøst. Vær derfor forsiktig i terreng med vindtransportert snø. Husk på at selv små skred kan gi store konsekvenser på steder med oppstikkende steiner.

Snowpack Structure

Lørdag var det kraftig vind og et mildvær som gikk til fjelltopphøyde. På 300 moh var snøen gjennomfuktet på søndag. Høyere til fjells er det trolig fortsatt tørr snø igjen i snødekket.

Det er fortsatt tidlig i sesongen og selv om det er skiføre er det mye oppstikkende stein og åpne bekker.

Tendency

Increasing and shifting winds in the afternoon may lead to the formation of unstable wind slabs in terrain facing west. Be careful in areas with newly wind-deposited snow. Even small avalanches can have severe consequences in areas with exposed rocks.
