Avalanche Activity

Forecast Snow Stability: High freezing levels with rain will lead to an unstable period overnight but by dawn the majority of the snow will be soft, wet but generally well bonded. However wet snow instabilities may persist on the steepest terrain mostly on North-West through North-East to East aspects above 900 metres. Remaining cornices and icefall will be prone to collapse. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Snowpack Structure
