Forecast Snow Stability: There will be a thin covering of new snow above around 800 metres, with some windslab present in sheltered areas mainly on North-East through East to South aspects above 850 metres. Accumulations having gained depth will be localised. The patchy older snowpack, which lies mainly on South-West through West to North aspects above 800 metres will be generally stable, with its surface continuing to refreeze. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Winds will be light, generally West-South-Westerly, then variable during the afternoon. A few light showers falling as snow above around 750 metres are expected at first during the evening, then mainly dry. The freezing level will be around 800 metres.
