In sintesi

At the upper elevations north winds continue to form isolated pockets of soft surface slab up to one foot in depth below the highest ridgelines. One of these small pockets released naturally yesterday in a south facing cliffy area of Indian Lake Cirque. Pockets of dense older slabs to three feet in depth formed by southwest winds persist in steep cliff areas. These slabs lie upon crusts and faceted snow and could be triggered especially near rock outcrops were the slab is shallow. At the mid elevations isolated pockets of slab up to 18 inches in depth exist in cliff areas and on steep wind loaded aspects. At the lower elevations strong crust exist on snow covered slopes and avalanches are unlikely.
