The General Avalanche Hazard is CONSIDERABLE today. Strong south to southwest winds have formed slabs two to four in depth. These slabs lie upon slick pre-Christmas old snow surfaces and are likely to be easily triggered today in steep wind loaded avalanche prone terrain. Large natural avalanches are possible.
