In sintesi

Unstable slabs 2 to 6 feet in depth exist on steep wind loaded aspects at the mid and upper elevations. Yesterday skiers triggered a two foot deep hard slab on an east-northeast aspect at an elevation of 9,800 feet in the Mount Hunt area. One six foot deep slab and numerous 1 to 3 foot deep slabs were easily triggered with explosives on the North Ridge at the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Similar events could be triggered today in steep wind loaded starting zones and in cliff areas that have not had recent avalanche activity. Mostly stable snow exist at the lower elevations where avalanches are unlikely except for wet loose and isolated wet slab avalanches on steep sunlit slopes in the afternoon hours if significant warming occurs.
