In sintesi

The snowpack is mostly stable, however strong northwest to west-northwest winds have formed isolated pockets of new soft slab up to ten inches in depth below the highest elevation ridgelines. These new wind drifts could tip over skiers or riders who venture into cliff areas and the starting zones of steep wind loaded couloirs. At the mid and upper elevations a buried weak layer of faceted snow persists. Some potential remains for humans to trigger old hard slabs up to 3 feet in depth on steep shaded slopes on this buried layer. At low elevations avalanches are unlikely in the shallow snowpack.
