Avalanche Summary

Be careful around steep northerly, and east-facing slopes. The most dangerous slopes will look filled-in or have rounded or pillow-shaped deposits of snow below the ridgelines. If you see cracking or collapsing in the snow surface, find a less steep place to ride.

You can find safer riding in wind-sheltered below treeline areas or on southerly-facing slopes.
