In sintesi

At the mid and high elevations a chance continues to trigger hard slab avalanches to four foot depths in very steep avalanche starting zones that were loaded during the mid January storm. The triggering of these slabs may require large loads such as groups of skiers or snowmobiles. The new snow may also be released in steep terrain as sluffs or as very soft slabs with depths under one foot. Avalanches at low elevations are unlikely today

Avalanche Discussion

Weak west flow will provide periods of light snow as moisture passes to the south of the area. Accumulations will be light. Temperatures will rise into the mid twenties and west winds are to have averages of five to ten miles per hour. The general avalanche will be Moderate. In isolated areas the chance continues for large triggers to initiate hard slab avalanches to depths of four feet. In very steep terrain backcountry travelers could also trigger new snow sluffs or possibly shallow soft slabs along high exposed ridges.
