Small to medium-sized loose snow avalanches are to be expected. In the event of prolonged bright spells this applies on extremely steep slopes and. The new snow-covered wind slabs can be released by a single winter sport participant in some cases above approximately 2600 m, caution is to be exercised in particular adjacent to ridgelines, as well as at the base of rock walls and behind abrupt changes in the terrain. On the Main Alpine Ridge, in the Ortler Range and in the Ultental and in high Alpine regions the likelihood of avalanches is a little higher. Individual gliding avalanches are possible. 10 to 20 cm of snow, and even more in some localities, has fallen. Up to 15 cm of snow will fall. Wind slabs are lying on soft layers at elevated altitudes. The old snowpack is well consolidated and its surface consists of loosely bonded snow lying on a resilient melt-freeze crust.

The avalanche danger will decrease gradually.
