Vindøkning vil flytte på snø og danne fokksnøflak. I enkelte heng der det lastes inn mest snø, kan skred løsne naturlig. Fokksnøflak dannet tidligere i uken stabiliseres gradvis, men kan flere steder ligge på svakt lag av kantkorn rundt gammel skare. Det kan fortsatt være lett for en skikjører å løse ut skred her, og disse kan bli store. Vær særlig forsiktig i overgang til tynne og myke flak, som rundt tregrensa. Fjernutløsning er fortsatt mulig.

Gjennom forrige helg kom det påfyll av snø med snøbyger og vind fra nordvest. Før dette var snødekket preget av kraftig vind fra sørøst.

Mildvær og regn 29/1 med plussgrader til minst 500 moh i ytre strøk har gitt skare opp til mildværsgrensa. Det er observert kantkorndannelse rundt skarelaget.
