In sintesi

Avoid wind loaded slopes in steep terrain.  Any new snow will have a difficult time bonding to the old rain crust.  If you trigger an avalanche, it will run on this old crust sending you downhill like a cannonball.

Wind slabs will be pretty shallow in the Blues.  If you see wind pillows, or dune looking formations, you're probably looking at a wind slab.  Getting caught up in one of these could be dangerous, as the underlying snow surface is the bullet proof rain crust from 1/12.  Don't let your machine get out of control, or you might be looking at a new front end for your snowmobile.

Avalanche Discussion

The Blues haven't been favored in the last storm cycle, at least according to the snotel sites.  These don't always tell the whole story, and you may find more snow out in the backcountry.  Just remind yourself, any new snow is sitting on a very firm rain crust, and likely won't bond very well.  Keep it low angle, as this will provide the most enjoyable and safest riding.  Your biggest adversary right now is getting out of control on the old crust, not avalanche danger in most cases.
