In sintesi

Avalanche hazard on Sunday will be similar to what we saw today.  It will be possible to trigger small Wind Slab avalanches on North East and East facing slopes.

There were reports of a few very small Wind Slabs in alpine terrain on Saturday.  The wind will shift from the West to the South-West overnight.  With this shift, and another inch or two possible, Wind Slab avalanches will be possible Sunday.  Any avalanches will be small since there are only inches of soft snow available for the wind to move.  Be wary of terrain where getting knocked off your feet would be more consequential.

Avalanche Discussion

We had a few inches of nice, low density snow throughout the ski terrain this morning.  On most aspects this new snow overlays a supportable and carvable crust.  We haven't observed any notable persistent weak layers in our current snowpack, and any avalanches are likely to exist in the new snow and be very small.
