In steep avalanche terrain in the Southwest Trails area slabs to two feet in depth could be triggered by skiers or riders. In the Tetons, pockets of slab with similar depths could be triggered while in the Togwotee Pass area pockets to eighteen inch depths remain susceptible to human triggering.
