Avalanche Summary

The threat of triggering an avalanche is slowly decreasing, but many slopes remain dangerous. Steep, high-elevation, north-facing slopes still have some concerning weak layers that could fail if you find a connected slab on an open piece of terrain.

Wet snow problems are also a threat on steep slopes. If you find yourself sinking deeply into sloppy snow surfaces, keep your slope angles mellow to avoid triggering an avalanche.
