In sintesi

Over two feet of new snow, containing nearly three inches of moisture, and strong Southwesterly winds have formed surface slabs at the mid and high elevations. Skiers and riders could easily trigger these slabs in steep terrain at the high elevations with depths to three feet. At mid elevations pockets of slab to two feet could be triggered. The size and sensitivity of these slabs will increase as new snow and wind occur today. At low elevations, avalanches are unlikely except for isolated pockets.
