Last night spontaneously triggered avalanches hit the highways at Mile 151 south of Jackson at Cow of the Woods and Granite Creek in Hoback Canyon and an explosive triggered avalanche hit the highway on Twin Slide on Teton Pass. Strong south to southwest winds have formed slabs one to three feet deep on a variety of aspects at all elevations. DANGEROUS human triggered avalanches are likely today. Large natural avalanches that run full path are a possiblity. TRAVEL IN AVALANCHE TERRAIN IS NOT RECOMMENDED AT THE UPPER ELEVATIONS AND EXTREME CAUTION IS SUGGESTED AT MID AND LOWER ELEVATIONS.
