Avalanche Activity

Some rain will fall.

As a consequence of the precipitation, the likelihood of moist and wet avalanches being released will increase gradually. The small wind slabs can be released in isolated cases in particular on steep shady slopes. The avalanches are small.

Snowpack Structure

On sunny slopes hardly any snow is lying. The surface of the snowpack will cool hardly at all during the overcast night will already be soft in the early morning. The rain will give rise to a loss of strength within the snowpack. Wind slabs are barely recognisable because of the poor visibility.
