Forecast Snow Stability: The snowpack, greatest accumulations of which lie on North through East to South-East aspects above 800 metres, will continue to thaw and consolidate at all levels. Stability will generally be good. Any remaining cornices will be prone to collapse. Full depth avalanches will be possible on very steep North-East to East facing slopes and crags. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: After rain at all levels during the evening, the rest of the night and early morning is expected to be dry. Rain at all levels from late morning. The freezing level will be above all summits apart from a brief period overnight when it will drop to around 900 metres. Winds will be strong mainly West-South-Westerly. Observed Weather Influences: Overnight the freezing level rose above all summits. During the day persistent rain fell at all levels. Winds were very strong West-South-Westerly. ObservedSnowStability: Overnight there was a period of increased instability as precipitation turned to rain at all levels. During the day the moist or wet snowpack thawed and consolidated at all levels, and stability is generally good. Some wet snow instabilities remain on very steep North-East to South-East aspects. Remaining cornices are prone to collapse. The avalanche hazard is Low.
