Avalanche Activity

Moist and wet avalanches are possible from the morning.

As a consequence of warming, the likelihood of moist and wet avalanches being released will increase quickly in all altitude zones. Dry avalanches can be released in deeper layers in particular on very steep east, northeast and north facing slopes.

Snowpack Structure

The high temperatures as the day progresses will give rise to rapid moistening of the snowpack in all aspects.

Tendency

Decrease in danger of moist and wet avalanches as the temperature drops.
