Forecast Snow Stability: The snowpack will slowly consolidate in the mild conditions. Instabilities will persist in deeper accumulations of windslab and wet snow surface instabilities will be present. North through East to South aspects above 800 metres will be most affected. Cornices, mainly to be found above these aspects, will be prone to collapse. The avalanche hazard will be Moderate.

The freezing level was rising and was around 1130 metres by midday. Cornices, mainly to be found above these aspects, are prone to collapse. Fresh debris observed today on an East aspect at 900 metres. The avalanche hazard is Considerable.
