Forecast Snow Stability: Very cold air temperatures will maintain a slow rate of consolidation. Poor to weakly bonded windslab will persist in wind sheltered locations on East to South aspects above 900 metres. Fragile cornices will be present above these slopes. Moderately bonded snow will be encountered below this altitude and on North-East and South-West aspects. Exposed locations will be wind scoured and stable. The avalanche hazard will be Considerable.
