Avalanche Activity

The weather conditions will give rise to increasing moistening of the snowpack.

In the regions exposed to heavier precipitation and on steep slopes individual small moist and wet avalanches are possible. Individual avalanche prone locations are to be found on steep shady slopes.

Snowpack Structure

Little rain will fall in some localities. The surface of the snowpack will cool hardly at all during the overcast night and will already be soft in the early morning. On steep sunny slopes no snow is lying.

Tendency

The avalanche danger will persist.
