Snowpack Structure

In gullies and bowls above approximately 1800 m a lot of snow is lying. The spring-like weather conditions gave rise to moistening of the snowpack. These conditions will cause a gradual weakening of the snowpack also at intermediate and high altitudes. Backcountry tours, off-piste skiing and ascents to alpine cabins should be started and concluded very early.
