Forecast Weather Influences: Heavy rain at all levels overnight. Precipitation will turn to snow on the summits from late morning gradually turning to snow at lower levels as precipitation eases. The freezing level will fall to around 800 metres by the end of the afternoon. Winds will initially be very Strong Southerly becoming moderate North-Westerly by the end of the forecast period.
