In sintesi

Mostly stable stable snow exists. Cold temperatures are expected to keep snow surfaces hard during the morning hours. The hazard will increase in the afternoon on very steep slopes where signigicant softening of the snow surfaces occur. Avalanches are unlikely except in isolated areas in extremely steep terrain and cliff areas where some potential to trigger wet slides may develop.

Avalanche Discussion

( Discussion is generated from the previous day's afternoon forecast. )Skies should dawn clear with temperatures near 10 degrees as a high pressure ridge builds into the area. During the day skies will be mostly sunny. Temperatures will rise into the 30s. Northeast winds will decease and back to the west in the morning. A cold start to the day will keep snow surfaces hard through the morning hours. The general avalanche hazard is expected to be LOW at all elevations and will increase but remain LOW on steep slopes where snow surfaces soften. The snowpack is mostly stable and avalanches are unlikely.
