Loose Wet avalanches will be the primary concern Thursday as temperatures rise during the day. These will remain mostly small but have the potential to push and carry you into dangerous terrain. Consider moving to less steep slopes if you see recent snow shedding as the sun moves across the sky.

At the highest elevations, pockets of recently drifted snow may still linger, especially just below ridgelines. Steer clear of very steep slopes if yo see cracks forming or feel hard, heavy layers under your feet.
