In sintesi

At the upper elevations snow surfaces are mostly comprised of wind packed snow in exposed terrain. Some areas of dry powder snow exist in sheltered areas at the mid elevations. The snow cover is less than a foot deep at the lower elevations. The snow pack is mostly stable and avalanches are unlikely. Normal caution is advised.

Avalanche Discussion

Mainly dry weather is expected. Skies will be mostly sunny above areas of morning valley fog. Temperatures will drop into the single digits overnight and rise into the teens on Tuesday. Winds will be light at around five miles per hour from the northwest.Mostly stable snow exists and avalanches are unlikely. No avalanche activity has been reported during the past nine days. The general avalanche hazard is LOW. Normal caution is advised. Watch out for unstable snow in isolated areas.
