In sintesi

At the mid and upper elevations, pockets of newer slab put in by northwest winds and older DANGEROUS slabs 2 to 4 feet in depth lie upon weak layers of faceted snow. The probability of triggering these slabs today is high and severe trauma and/or deep burial is possible.
