In sintesi
Soft slabs up to 18 inches in depth exist at the upper elevations and lie upon good sliding surfaces. These slabs could be human triggered on steep wind loaded aspects and in cliff areas. Loose snow sluffs could also be triggered on steep non-wind affected terrain. At the mid and lower elevations isolated pockets of soft slab up to one foot in depth persist in cliff areas and beneath cornices. With new snow and wind in the forcast new slabs will form and existing slabs will become more sensitive to triggering as the snow load increases.
