In sintesi

At the mid and upper elevations, the potential to trigger hard slabs to three feet in depth persists in steep avalanche terrain. Although this instability exists on all aspects, it is most likely to present itself on East to North facing slopes. Caution is recommended as these slopes may fail even after being crossed several times and the determination of which steep slopes remain unstable is problematic. Avalanches are unlikely at low elevations.

Avalanche Discussion

A few light flurries might produce a trace to an inch overnight before a transitory ridge rebuilds on Sunday. Overnight lows in the mountains will dip into the upper teens before rising into the low 30s during the day. Valley lows will be a little cooler overnight and then rise into the low 30s.The avalanche hazard is expected to remain MODERATE above 8000 feet. In steep avalanche terrain, backcountry skiers and riders could trigger hard slab avalanches up to three feet in depth. While this deep slab instability persists on all aspects, it is most likely to present itself on east to north facing terrain.
