In sintesi

The general avalanche hazard remains MODERATE. Hard slabs one to three feet in depth lie upon a persistant weak layer of faceted snow and could be user triggered. This instability varies throughout the snowpack on all aspects with North facing slopes showing the most significant weak layer. The snow above this weak layer has hardened making some slopes more stable but also making failure hard to predict and also providing the ability for travellers to make multiple laps on an unstable slope before it fails. Yesterday three slides were triggered on the north side of Split Rock by snowmobiles passing below the slopes.
