Forecast Weather Influences: There will be snow showers above 200m throughout the period. Winds will initially be from the South but will back to the East then North and finally West by Friday afternoon. Observed Weather Influences: Snow showers above 400m with moderate to strong Westerly winds over the summits

ObservedSnowStability: Fresh areas of unstable windslab are continuing to form in the strong winds. Greatest accumulations are in wind sheltered North, North-East, East and South-East aspects above 900m. Cornices are also building above these aspects. The avalanche hazard is Considerable
