( Discussion is generated from the previous day's afternoon forecast. )Another disturbance will keep skies cloudy and usher more moisture into the region. Snow showers are likely to bring several inches of new snow to the upper elevations. Rain showers are to be expected below an elevation of 7,800 feet. Temperatures will be in the 20s and 30s in the mountains and in the 30s and 40s in the valleys. Winds will be west-southwesterly at 15 to 20 miles per hour.The general avalanche hazard is expected to be LOW. The snow pack is mostly stable. Cooler temperatures will decrease the wet slide hazard. Normal caution is advised. Beware of unstable snow on isolated terrain features.
