The snowpack is generally stable. Aside from a trace to an inch of snow that fell overnight, the last precipitation fell over 2 weeks ago. In very steep terrain near rocks and cliff areas, small isolated pockets of slab could still be triggered.  Use caution in no fall zones and in any high consequence terrain where small amounts of snow could knock you off of your feet, particularly this afternoon if additional snow starts to accumulate.

Cold air with a limited amount of moisture has arrived and brought an inch of snow to favored areas of the Tetons, particularly the northern part of the forecast area. Additional accumulation of up to three inches is possible in isolated locations through Sunday. This is not enough to increase the danger ratings but enthusiasts should be wary in very steep terrain near cliff edges or in couloirs where new snow could easily slide on the slick crusts and/or faceted snow, including surface hoar, that lie throughout the backcountry.
