Avalanche Summary

Avalanche conditions are generally safe on the Grand Mesa and Battlement Mesa. You may be able to find some drifted snow on steep slopes below corniced ridgelines and the sides of gullies. Remember that even a small avalanche can have dangerous consequences if you get carried off a cliff or into a terrain trap.
