Avalanche Summary

An Avalanche Warning is in effect from Tuesday night through Thursday. The biggest storm of the season is bringing strong winds and feet of snow to an area with a very weak snowpack. You can easily trigger large and dangerous avalanches on most steep slopes. On northwest through north to southeast-facing slopes, many avalanches will release naturally and can grow large enough to bury you. Travel in avalanche terrain is not recommended near or above treeline.
