Avalanche Summary

There is no risk of avalanches on Sunday due to the lack of snow. Some deeper wind drifts may exist in upper-elevation gullies, but they are too small to be hazardous.

A storm Sunday into Monday brings 3 to 6 inches. These totals will not be enough to increase the threat of avalanches. If the storm brings more than expected, you may be able to trigger small avalanches in upper-elevation, isolated locations in the northern San Juan Mountains and the West Elk Mountains on Monday.
