Avalanche Summary

Avalanche conditions are safe due to the lack of snow. If you are traveling at high elevations in the Mt Zirkel Wilderness, steer around any deep wind drifts you find on northerly-facing slopes. In these same places, up to ten inches of snow is expected late Friday. New snow and wind will increase the above treeline avalanche danger for Saturday.
