The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. Pockets of unstable snow exist on steep, wind loaded aspects. These areas could hold slabs to 8 inches deep that rest of slick crusts. Be aware of sloughs that develop into larger slides on sunlit aspects as the day warms. Avoid gulleys and terrain traps today.
